 MOST  OF US THINK OF THIS RIGHT AWAY WHEN WE READ

Matthew 6:4

  "Blessed   are   those who mourn ,   For they shall be comforted."

>that it reffer ONLY to " mourning of our dead love ones"!

But as I study and search for the deeper meaning, I also  want to share you guys  what I've found out.

"Mourn" or mourning in this verse is not only referring to mourning for the love ones, BUT ALSO includes the BROKEN-HEARTED, those who have "CRUSHED SPIRIT", and   those who are LONELY because of SICKNESS/ILLNESS and PAINS. 

JESUS said, they shall be comforted. 

( I will explain the " crushed  Spirit" in a while.)

In this v.4, JESUS said, "BLESSED are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted".

THE HOLY SPIRIT shall comfort them ( us who mourn).

JESUS will mend those broken- hearted, and HE heals the sick and relieves those who suffer pains.

About the "crushed Spirit" as in Psalms 34:18 says, 

  18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart , And saves such as have a "contrite spirit". (CRUSHED SPIRIT in other versions)

Our Spirit is our inner light, inner power/ energy or our own electricity:  this  connects us with GOD, ourselves and to others around us.

CRUSHED means, depleted, or destroyed.

Crushed Spirit drains the life right out of us.

Some examples: betrayal, physical & emotional pains, sleepless nights, or endless dreams. 

All these are draining the Spirit. When these are happening, the Spirit is being CRUSHED.😒
